Ramanbhai C. Patel hailing from religious and cultured family started off a small book shop called CHAROTAR BOOK STALL at ANAND and VALLABH VIDYANAGAR on 04-04-1944. It gradually proliferated, and in 1952, the first engineering text book was published. At present, there are more than fifty titles on various Engineering subjects that are well accepted, used extensively by the students, teachers, and professionals in India, and abroad. From 15th November 2007, CHAROTAR PUBLISHING HOUSE and CHAROTAR BOOKS DISTRIBUTORS merged and having a new corporate identity represented by new name with CHAROTAR PUBLISHING HOUSE PRIVATE LIMITED, which is headed by Bhavin Kumar R. Patel, Pradip Kumar R. Patel, and Parth P. Patel.

Our publishing house is efficiently managed by qualified and experienced personnel.
